Parkland and boreal ecosystems are protected as a legacy for future generations.
We protect land to conserve biodiversity and connect people to nature.
We Protect nature for its intrinsic value and the benefits it provides for all living things. We value conserving land in perpetuity and as a legacy for future generations.
We Respect the land, ecological systems, and parkland and boreal flora and fauna. We work every day to honour the trust placed in us by volunteers, donors, and partners.
We Connect people, community, and nature. Together, we can do big things!
We love what we do and where we live. Our passion for Edmonton and its surroundings is shared by the volunteers, donors, landowners, and partners that form the EALT community. United by a commitment to conserving land for current and future generations, we are proud to be part of a broader conservation network in Edmonton, Alberta, and Canada, collaborating with diverse organizations for lasting conservation.
As the region’s land trust we secure and steward land in the City of Edmonton and within a 150-km radius of the city. We primarily do this through land donations and conservation easements. We steward these special places with the tremendous support of volunteers, neighbours, and conservation partners. We are active in the community and raise awareness of land conservation through presentations, hands-on workshops, nature walks, and in our digital and print communications.
