Plant Rescue and Pollinator Garden

In partnership with the Edmonton Native Plant Group and the Edmonton Community Foundation, we will be working to rescue plants from a highway expansion and use them to create a pollinator garden at the Edmonton Community Foundation. We will meet at Capilano Mall and first drive to the plant rescue site near Gibbons. In the morning we'll dig up plants and then bring them over to the Edmonton Community Foundation downtown to plant them in the flower bed there in the afternoon.

If you have a shovel or plastic plant trays (i.e. from a greenhouse when you purchased plants), please bring those.
