Clean Up for the Birds! at Boisvert's GreenWoods

Boisvert's GreenWoods is a patch of old growth forest that provides habitat for many species of mammals, birds, and plants. EALT maintains bird boxes on this land to add to this valuable habitat. It is time to clean out old nesting material from the bird boxes to make room for next years occupants, and we could use some helping hands! We also need some help maintaining the trails within this Conservation Land, so that everyone can access this area to admire our feathered friends.

We will meet at 8:30 am and carpool to the site, getting back around 3-4 pm. Wear sturdy shoes and comfortable clothes, and bring a lunch, water, hat, sunscreen/bugspray, and a camera or binoculars if you'd like. Tools, gloves and extra snacks will be provided. Additional information will be sent to you several days in advance of the event.
