Bat Box Installation at Bunchberry Meadows

Bunchberry Meadows is EALT's largest conservation area, home to moose, deer, birds, butterflies, and... bats! Bats of all species are becoming increasingly threatened by the spread of white-nose syndrome across North America. Help us improve habitat for our small endangered bats by joining us to install bat boxes at this special location.

We will meet at 8:30 am and carpool to the site, getting back to Edmonton around 3-4 pm. Wear sturdy shoes and comfortable clothes, and bring a lunch, water, hat, sunscreen/bugspray, and a camera or binoculars if you'd like. Tools, gloves and extra snacks will be provided. Additional information will be sent to you several days in advance of the event.
